How I work: I offer highly individualized and customizable therapy services to children (2-18), parents and adults. I also offer coaching and consultative services to other professionals.
I offer therapy that fits your life and routines. This means that you can tailor the frequency and length of sessions. You can choose to come to my office in Lone Tree or I can come to your home, your child's school or anywhere that suits therapy and, your lifestyle needs. I also, keep my private practice small so if you call or email me, I will get back to you the same day. Essentially, how long we work together is up to you. On average sessions are an hour long, but we can meet for longer or shorter times. We will work together to find a time that is mutually beneficial to you. Usually, we start with weekly sessions and then fade out over time as you meet your goals and see the progress you are after. I am always available on an as-needed basis. How often we meet is mutually agreed upon in the first few sessions and this all depends on your concerns and goals. This process is fluid and organic and can be revisited at any time.
My approach: Whether you are struggling to manage your own concerns, a child's challenging behavior, a teen who is acting out and/or parenting a child with special needs, you don't have to go through it alone. That's why I am here. I know from both my professional and personal experiences that coming out the other side is possible in what seems like the hardest challenges we can face. Although it may seem impossible at times, you can move forward. My approach has been described as compassionate, collaborative, responsive, pragmatic and engaging. While I am a Doctor, I truly value that you are the expert on you and/or your child. We can work together to problem solve and overcome life's adversities. I listen first to what you are seeking guidance for, and we work through an initial plan together to help you move forward to living your best life. In our sessions I offer support, practical skills training and advice to help you reach your goals. You will actively learn tools to help with emotional regulation, self-management, and psychological flexibility. I am honored to be considered for a part of your life's behavioral wellness journey.
I bring together a background in clinical psychology, behavior analysis, and special education into my work.
